Often a song is associated with its singer, and I wrote
this long lieder in homage to my sister, a talented cantatrice.
Putting one of my poems to music was a work which I was
determined would be intimate and original.
I invested many of my experiences, both painful
and pleasant, throughout the years.
It was a real pleasure to capture those moments of
complicity whilst recording.
